For Fruitage 9 Studio, that idea began with a love of creating and a desire to bring beauty, fragrance, and thoughtful self-care together in a way that feels personal.
What began as a creative idea has become a small handmade business where I create and hand-pour products with care.
Behind every product is a story of creativity, learning, patience, and the courage to keep developing an idea until it becomes something real.
Where It All Began
Fruitage 9 Studio was built from a love of creating.
I love learning new things, I love creating new things, and I like keeping my hands busy. There is something really satisfying about taking individual ingredients and turning them into something beautiful and useful.
From selecting oils and butters to developing textures, exploring fragrances, designing packaging, and giving each product its own identity, every part of the process gives me something new to learn and something new to create.
I genuinely enjoy what I do. I’m passionate about making these products, and I hope that passion comes through in the things I create.
For me, handmade means more than simply making a product by hand.
It means being intentional about the details. It means caring about what goes into each creation and taking pride in the small decisions that make a product feel special.
Every formula, fragrance, label, and package represents another step in the journey.

I source my ingredients from Canadian suppliers and aim to choose vegan and cruelty-free ingredients whenever possible, working with suppliers who share these values.
All fragrances and essential oils used by Fruitage 9 Studio are cruelty-free.

Building Fruitage 9 Studio has been a journey of creativity, learning, experimentation, and growth.
Behind every finished product are countless decisions: developing formulas, selecting ingredients, exploring fragrances, designing labels, refining packaging, preparing products, and discovering what customers love.
There have been ideas that worked, ideas that changed along the way, and ideas that taught valuable lessons even when they did not become finished products.
The first year of building Fruitage 9 Studio also brought some of the most difficult moments of my life. During that first year, I experienced the loss of my baby brother and my father.
It was a season of grief that changed me in ways I am still learning to understand. Building something while carrying that kind of loss was not always easy. There were days when creating felt difficult, and days when simply continuing took courage.
But I kept going.
