The Story Behind My Grandmother’s Bouquet of Roses. There are moments that quietly become part of who we are. They happen on ordinary afternoons, yet stay with us for a lifetime. For me, those moments were spent in my grandmother’s garden. I can still see her there, smiling, gently caring for every bloom. That’s where she lives in my heart. She was my safe place, my constant. She reminded me that tomorrow is possible and that strength can be quiet, steady, and kind.

Her garden never rushed, and neither did she. She believed beautiful things take time to grow. When her roses were in full bloom, she would do a little happy dance, simply overflowing with joy. It’s a memory that taught me more about happiness than words ever could. Years later, when I began creating fragrances for Fruitage 9 Studio, I wasn’t trying to create the perfect rose scent. I was trying to hold on to a feeling, the feeling of standing beside my grandmother, being completely loved, and knowing that somehow everything would be okay.

The rose stays at the center. Violet lends a soft, powdery grace. Lemon adds a gentle brightness that lifts the petals. Amber brings warmth and depth, like sunlight resting on wood. Together, they frame the rose, creating a fragrance that feels romantic, gentle, and quietly radiant. And if this fragrance carries anything, I hope it holds a fragment of the love, peace, and hope she gave me. More than anything, I hope it reminds you of someone who has left a beautiful mark on your life. Because whenever I see a rose now, I don’t simply see a flower. I see my grandmother’s smile. I picture her in her happy place, surrounded by the roses she loved so dearly, smiling, doing her little happy dance. And I’m reminded again, love never truly leaves.
